With Device Care, your mobile device is protected and eligible for the following service repairs:
- Cracked screen (front only)
- Device Battery*
- Device Buttons
- Device Charging port
* Battery maximum health capacity must be <75%
If our repair service network can’t fix your device, we’ll provide you with $150 for the inconvenience of having to find your own repair service or to use toward the purchase of a working device. Afterward, you’ll need to visit the “My Account” page on assurantprotection.com/cpr/my-account to provide details for your fixed or new device. Your device will also need to pass a diagnostic test to ensure that it’s in working condition.
The diagnostic tool is used to confirm that your phone is in good shape and eligible for repairs. A series of tests will be performed on your phone to verify its condition, along with verifying the device make, model and unique IMEI. The tool may test the pixels, touch screen, front camera, back camera, speakers, accelerometer, screen and back of phone. You’ll need a mirror to complete some tests. The full test should take less than a minute.
